I am trying to import a spreadsheet into Act 2005. I have converted the excel sheet into a tab delimited file and follow all of the prompts. However, after the last prompt says that the file was imported, when I look in Act, there is nothing. What am I doing wrong. Thanks in advance for the help.

Hello dyow.
During the import process did you map the fields? In other words did you make sure the data from the excel spreadsheet was going into the proper ACT! fields?
Only if the column headers from the excel data exactly match the field names in ACT! will the fields be mapped automatically. Otherwise, it has to be done manually.

I can see 2 possible reasons for your problem;
1 - 1st row should be field names (export a record and use the field names from that.
2 - Save the data as a CSV (comma Seperated variable).
