import problem from Draw version 12

I have a very frustrated user, and I'm not much better. I recently added Corel DRAW 12 to her computer, leaving her old Corel DRAW 11 in place. She has created several pictures in DRAW 12, and then wants to use the import feature in Venture 10 to make it a part of her presentation. It fails with the following error:

"the files are not importable using the selected filter, or the format is not supported"

However, if she saves the file as a DRAW 11 file, she can import it. I checked to be sure the proper filters were installed... although there was no way during setup to turn them off, and they are all there.

Anyone out there have any suggestions?

any help would be appreciated.

I have not used Venture 10 but my first thought is Venture 10 was released before CorelDRAW12. If it worked with the CorelDRAW 11 files she can back save the file and then try it. I have had this problem with files from newer version of AI when you try to take them into CorelDRAW
