Hey guy's!

I've got a problem with installing/importing a new license file (LIC) on the MD110 TSW:

1) I've copied the LIC file to the hard disk with MD Disk Tool
2) I've checked by WinFIOL if the file is on the location with: FIDAP:pATH=USR1/SES/LI*.*
Output:
FILE/DIRECTORY DATA
FILE FITYPE LINKS USERID FISIZE DATE
11-xxxx-39.LIC F 1 2 2708 26MAR12 14:12
11-xxxx-40.LIC F 1 2 2708 08JUN12 12:28
11-xxxx-41.LIC F 1 2 2708 20AUG12 14:39
(the 41.LIC is the newest to be imported file, so the file is on de harddisk)

3) I've treid to check if the license is okay by: LIDFP:pATH=USR1/LI/11-XXXX-41.LIC
Output:
NOT ACCEPTED
FILE/DIRECTORY DOES NOT EXIST

4) Nevertheless I've treid to import the LIC file by: LIDAI:pATH=USR1/LI/11-XXXX-41.LIC
Output:
NOT ACCEPTED
FILE/DIRECTORY DOES NOT EXIST

5) I've treid step 1 till 4 after a SFCEI, full sync etc, but still Output:
NOT ACCEPTED
FILE/DIRECTORY DOES NOT EXIST

Anyone an idea?

Thanks!
Dave

There is some problem with what you have written as the output you show for the FIDAP, did not come from the command you have shown. If you want help, do not be so casual about the way you phrase the questions.
To produce that output, I suspect that you did
FIDAP:pATH=/USR1/SES/LI/*.*;
Please copy and paste commands and printouts to retain accuracy otherwise you waste the time of people who would like to help.

Look what you have written!

You did FIDAP of USR1/SES/LI*.*

but then you try to load USR1/LI/11-XXXX-41.LIC
Why not try to load /USR1/SES/11-XXXX-41.LIC ?
or most probably-
/USR1/SES/LI/11-XXXX-41.LIC
Pay attention to what the system is telling you :)
If it says the file does not exist, try to see why.

Thanks for the response and sorry for the misunderstanding.

This is a copy paste from WinFIOL:

(c) Aastra Telecom
XXX-XXXXX 21AUG12 07:35:10 1-0-40-04 NIU1-NETW1

<FIDAP:pATH=USR1/SES/LI/*.*;
FILE/DIRECTORY DATA
FILE FITYPE LINKS USERID FISIZE DATE
11-XXXX-39.LIC F 1 2 2708 26MAR12 14:12
11-XXXX-40.LIC F 1 2 2708 08JUN12 12:28
11-XXXX-41.LIC F 1 2 2708 20AUG12 14:39
END

<LIDFP:pATH=USR1/SES/LI/11-XXXX-41.LIC;
NOT ACCEPTED
FILE/DIRECTORY DOES NOT EXIST

<LIDAI:pATH=USR1/SES/LI/11-0935-41.LIC;;
LIDAI:pATH=USR1/SES/LI/11-0935-41.LIC;
SURE? (YES/NO)
<y;
NOT ACCEPTED
FILE/DIRECTORY DOES NOT EXIST

Hope that this is the right way to show the output

like himdp said, you are missing the "/" before USR1.
so LIDFP:pATH=/USR1/SES/LI/11-XXXX-41.LIC; should work

Never underestimate tha powah of tha google!

You should specify the path with a leading '/'
LIDAI:pATH=/USR1/SES/LI/11-XXXX-41.LIC;

Also check the permissions on the license file with FICAP

Thanks again for the response.
See the following output:

<LIDFP:pATH=/USR1/SES/LI/11-XXXX-41.LIC;
NOT ACCEPTED
FILE/DIRECTORY DOES NOT EXIST
(with a leading "/")

<FICAP:pATH=/USR1/SES/LI/11-XXXX-41.LIC;
NOT ACCEPTED
NODE NOT FOUND
(with a leading "/")

<FICAP:pATH=USR1/SES/LI/11-XXXX-41.LIC;
CATEGORY INFORMATION
FITYPE OWNER-ACC GROUP-ACC OTHER-ACC FILE
F R W - R W - R W - 11-XXXX-41.LIC
END
(without the leading "/")

LIDAI:pATH=/USR1/SES/LI/11-XXXX-41.LIC;
SURE? (YES/NO)
<y;
NOT ACCEPTED
FILE/DIRECTORY DOES NOT EXIST

Probably I have to contact my Aastra partner?

Thanks again Daddy and himdp for your patience and answers

The full path should include the node name so try the path /SYSN/USR1/SES/LI/11-XXXX-41.LIC;

THANKS A LOT himdp!
LIDAI:pATH=/SYSN/USR1/SES/LI/11-XXXX-41.LIC;

That was the solution!

ouch, it's been a while, yeah indeed you need /SYSN :)
