Import Master Version 3.31

I'm from old school.

I'm a MAS 90 ver3.31(G/L, A/R, A/P, I/M, L/M, S/O, P/O)user, and we do not have "Import Master" module. I understand MAS90 has been moving forward a lot last few years, but I have no intention to upgrade my 3.31. We recently start EDI transaction and I'll like to "semi-automatic" my work so I need I/M ver 3.31.

My question is, can anyone tell me how can I find an "Import Master ver 3.31", to speed up my work? or any other option I have w/o upgrade to newer version.

What you ask is next to impossible. Even if you could locate an install disk with Import Master v3.31 there is little chance you could find unlocking keys that would allow you to use it. Sage sure isn't issuing them anymore. You might be able to use a resellers keys but I have to ask if you are working with a reseller. Plus the documentation for I/M is hard to find. I doubt if you could find anyone to show you how to use it.

Now do not take this the wrong way. I really liked I/M. Fast and simple.

May I ask why you are so resistant to upgrading? Can I ask what OS you are running? Windows95? 98?

Thank you for your command. I do not believe MAS90 tech support anymore, I start use MAS90 when it was in DOS mode, MAS90 is a good system, but their supporting group were sucks, all they ask you were reporduce the error, sure the support was clock by time, and old version take long time to run.... and then said "Oh, I get back to you later..." even the re-seller were bad, I learn most of it by myself. So and I do not believe the "New" license ideal that I "HAVE TO" purchase support every year..... so I never upgrade. The version I use is sufficent for my business. Except I miss the need Import Master( I did not purchase when I upgrade from DOS top Window).

Anyway, I know how to use I/M and I love it was simple, I do not believe I need those MAS techi to help me.

By the way, I am in WIN XP, SP2.

If you need to import large amounts of data then you are probably stuck with having to upgrade. Actually the program in on the install disk. What you need are the unlocking keys and as I said there is no way to get them from Sage. Not that they would not give them to you, there is no way for them to generate new ones for you.

There is no other way to get data in. By the way with 3.31, the Windows version it would be Visual Integrator.

Just thought of something. When you upgraded to 3.31 did you come from 3.2X or from a Level 2 version? If you have 3.2X and had IM it might be possible for you to install it off the disk if you still have it and it should work since your unlocking code would have included IM since you owned it in the previous release.

Dear Big Louis,

Too bad, we were upgrade from old version in DOS. And my company did not purchse V/I or I/M when upgrade. and old 3/5" diskette, I have no ideal where they went.

I guess my best bet is enter EDI transaction by hand, may be one day it will justifiable to upgrade to a newer version,

If you have a high volume of EDI transactions I suspect that will be justification enough to upgrade.
