Hello,

I have been trying to figure out if there is a way for vba in access to check for certain column headings (row 1) in excel before importing.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

About the only way I can think of would be to:
- add a reference to Excel to your app;
- open the book and check for the headings you want.

If you don't find what you're looking for, close the book and move on, else process the rows in a loop.
