We are having a great deal of dificulty getting any information out of CISCO regarding importing our existing list of users and personal phone numbers into the CCM software. They are telling us it is a manual process with no built in import option. This is a new install & the existing user listing is rather extensive. Naturally they are happy to refer us to a 3rd party vendor who is happy to sell us a product. This should be a simple database import process, but as I am not a DBA I'm a little lost on this. Any help at all would be much appreciated. Our operators are really hating life right now.

Thank you

what kind of database? Are you using Active Directory?
How many users?

It's just a CSV file, my mistake I misunderstood the request that came from my operator. I would think this should be a very simple process. I just need a little guidance to make sure we don't break CCM.

Thank you

use the BAT plugin.
just try using it with one or two users until you feel comfortable with it.

Hope this helps.

Yep, Bulk Admin tool will let you import a csv file with your extensions and users. You can import hundreds of users in a matter of minutes.

Even if they are remote users wth no actual phone set up in CCM. This list is primarily so our operators can transfer calls to other numbers.
