I am running FP2000 on a Win98 machine. I am trying to establish a connection between an intranet and an Access database (already existing).

I can import the Northwind sample database with no problem. Everything comes up just the way it should. But I cannot get my own database to work. I have tried importing the database file, drag and drop, creating a database connection in FP, using a System DSN connection, etc. The database connection verifies correctly in FP2000.

No matter what I do, when I call up that page in my browser (IE 5.5), I get a yellow box saying that the database connection is undefined.

In my case, the problem disappeared the next day, without my having done anything (that I was aware of). It happened one more time a few days later, after I had the Personal Web Server control panel open--but was okay again (i.e., I was able to the data from the database on the web page) after I rebooted.
