Regarding the import errors table.

Are the RECORDS reflected in the import errors table deleted from the imported table, or just the data reflected in the import errors table fields list?

Also, why does Access 2003 fail to import this date format from a delimited text file?

2006-07-18 00:00:00

Thanks . . . Rick

The RECORDS reflected in the import errors table, reflect the field name of the corresponding row from the importing file, the Data type of which is not an accepted value for the target table to be imported.

i.e
Row = 5
Data Type of Field (14) of importing file = Text
Data Type of Field (14) of target table = Long Integer

Import Error table
Error = Type Conversion Failure
Field = Field14
Row = 5
------------------------
For the import use
Date Order YMD
Date Delimiter -
Time Delimiter :
Four Digit Years Checked
Leading Zeros in Dates Checked

Hi Jerry . . .

Thanks for the info.

The number of records that I import are, at times, over 100,000!

I'm going to try your suggestions.

I'll let you know what I come up with.

Thanks again.

Rick
