Anyone know if it's possible to import data from a Progress database into Access.
We have an application that has limited reporting options, running on the Progress database and what I want to do if it's possible is to create a 'Live Status' screen with Access, which would hopefully access the data in the Progress database.

No idea about Progress but in general is it ODBC compliant? if it is there may ne an ODBC driver for Access.

Or

Can you export the data form progress to a format that Access can import? you will have to check the export options from progress and find a match with the import options in Access

Hope that is of use Neil Berryman

Thanks Neil, I just found that it's tables can be read by programs that can read SQL tables, so I guess I'll have to visit the Microsoft Knowledgebase to find the right ODBC driver.
