Hi,

I am having a problem imprting the 'Activities' in BCM to the 'Notes' section in Act.

This includes all the very important e-mails.

Have managed to import all the fields I need either via csv route or through Outlook but still no luck with the e-mails.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Two options tried:

1 As per the Act wizard and help information by importing Outlook contact details. I Imported my BCM contacts, fields and e-mails into Outlook 2003. Then imported to Act using the Wizard. All there except for the 'Activties' tab.

2 Exported the BCM database to a 'csv' file and then imprted to Act. All there exepct for the 'Hisotry Items' where the phone call, notes and e-mails are stored.

I am running BCM2003 & Act V10

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

They don't appear to be.

Is there any particular setting I need to use when exporting from BCM? From memory it wants to export to text file then this has to be converted to csv.

Thanks

They do when you copy the contacts from BCM to Outlook, they all sit in the 'Activties' tab.

Thanks
