Import a folder to Outlook Express 5.5

A friend asked me to install Win 2K pro. He asked me to save a folder for him from his older version of OE. I saved the folder from Win explorer-extension dbx. Now, I can't import that folder into the new OE to save my life. Would someone know how to get that folder into OE version 5.5.It is 42 MB in size-got lots of stuff he wants. Thanks.

I guess if this is 42mb you have it on a CD?

If so copy it to the desktop of the new machine and make sure its properties are not set to "read only"

Import it from there.

Thanks for the replies. I got around this problem by installing a free program called Mailnavigator. It will read just about ant file from just about all of the mail programs out there.
