I am part of a design team to implement a data warehouse/DSS for our client. I have following questions on how ODS and Atomic Data Marts are implemented on MS-SQL server.

1. Technical architecture on how this can be implemented.
2. Any restrictions on the amount of data? We are looking
at a trabyte of data.
3. Rules of implementing atomic data marts.
4. Pros and cons of using MS-SQL server.
5. pointers to any white papers and/or resources on the
technical implementation of this architecture.

Thanks for your time and help.
