Implementation Question

I am getting ready to implement Exchange 2007 in my existing network. I currently have 750 users on SmarterMail (POP3 access). Here is my question:

I only have 100 employees that need exchange. The rest are agents that only need email, so they are staying on SmarterMail. Can I configure exchange to forward mail to the smarterMail server if the exchange use does not exist?
