Hello,
I have to create an Impromptu 6 report with a filter like this:
WKN IN (123456; 223457; 323458; ...)
Is there any maximum amount of items between the brackets?
I have to know, because I have not found any other way of filtering yet.

Thanks very much in advance,
Andreas (Cologne).

I don't know about the limit but you can always use a dataset otherwise.

You'd better do it this way:
1. Create another impromptu report with the codes you need " IN ".
2. On filter tab say Field_Name in and click on [dataset]
3. Select the previous report and in column selection, click the one that matches with Filter_tab.Field_Name

Now it's done !

Hope this helps

Impromptu against Oracle has a limitation of 1000 values.

Thanks for the help.
1000 are more than enough.

Greets,
Andreas.

Unless they have fixed it, you'll run up against a much smaller limit (about 1500 characters) in the Expression Editor before you ever reach the Oracle limit.
