I need some help with setting up iManager so that I can install my licenses. I have SSL setup and when I use Pkdiag
its checks and verify that the SSL Certificate and DNS is linked. There are no erors reported. I have checked TCPCON and have founded that TCP has no ports 443 active. When I put in the page for iManager, I get "Page cannot be display" message. I would like to get some help on this since I not sure what to do next.

Thanks
Steve

I have installed:
Novell 6 SP2
Certificate Server
iManager

Well it all depends on where exactly the problem lies. Even though PKDIAG shows good certificates, it may still be a PKI issue.

iManager uses Apache as its default web server so you need to make sure that it is running. Is NVXADMUP listed in your AUTOEXEC.NCF file? Can you point a browser to your server's IP address (Port 80) and see a web page? How about secure ports 2200 or 8009?

If the reason for iManger is just for you to install licenses, you'd be better off just using NWADMIN.

Thanks for replying. VXADMUP is loaded and I can run the Remote Web piece (port 80) But I can't hit a secure page using ports 2200 or 8009.

I'v tried using NWADMIN ,
Remove all license first then,
Install the new Netware 6 license via NWADMIN,
Downed the server and checked version, with no change.
The server sees no license at all.

I would like to NWADMIN without installing the rest of those nlms that are required to bring up iManager, Cert Server, and Apache.

Once you install the licenses with NWADMIN, what exactly are you checking at the server?

Are you installing both the server license and user licenses?

If the licenses install does not seem to work, have you tried running SETUPNLS at the server console?

I've installed the NW 6 license and the NW 5 MLA license (which won't work by design). NWADMIN seems to load server user license for NW6 ok, you can seeem them in the NDS browser, but the server doesn't reconize it.

You can check the license information by typing version at the server command prompt(NW6). I have not tried SETUPNLS, but will look into it.

Thanks
