I had an older PIII 500 MHz, dual CPU running Imail 7. I had issues where the cpu's would both hit 100% capacity when users would send out mailing lists with a lot of users. They would all get stuck in the queue and eventually clear out after 30 minutes.
I now have a new Compaq DL380, 3.2 Ghz, dual cpu, 2 GB Ram, 4 30 GB hard drives on raid 1+0. It still does the same thing. This is obviously something in Imail.
I saw a couple of posts on Ipswitches website about web messaging hitting 100$ cpu because of keepalive, large attachments in web messaging, but they didn't pertain to my problem. The user sends out from a windows 2000 box using Outlook 2000. Any ideas?
