Hi

What is the best and most cost efffective way to image a XP build and deploy to new machines

I'm at a loss here there seem to be so many ways of doing it. Thought i'd ask the knowledge base first.

RIS would be the most cost effective as long as you have a server to spare and the space. It's a little more difficult to get going, but I really like it compared to other imaging solutions.

Otherwise go with sysprep with Ghost/Acronis and the like...

We use ghost... we have an image for each model (about 5) and we boot to a CD that gets us on the network. Then run ghost and point to the image. It takes about 10 minutes... we then join the domain, setup the user on the PC and done.
