Looking for a good imaging product to use for our Netware servers. Doesn't llok like Norton supports Netware with the latest releases?

Can anyone make a suggestion?

Thanks.

Anyone using ServerMagic by Symantec/powerquest?

I made an extensive research for a image product for Netware in June 2003. I found only one existing product, that product is no longer sold.

My findings summary was, sorry your out of luck.

The Powerquest software looks promising.. Did you evaluate it?

used it before

could be wrong though but dont think it supports nss

The machines I am curretnly concerned about are running Netware 5.x and 4.11 with traditional volumes. I am not worried about NSS.

Has anyone had good luck with the product.? Terry?

Thanks again..

ServerMagic is a dead product. It worked great with Netware 4.11.. In fact, I used it to do a massive server (150+ servers) rollout a few years back and it cut months off of the project.

But it does not support NSS. Furthermore, It doesn't work very reliably on NetWare 5.x. I've seen it kill many file structures despite the fact that the operation completes successfully.

You might look into Portlock Storage Manager. It is the only product I know of that will work with Netware partitions nowadays. But do plenty of testing to make sure it does what you want, before you go into production.
