Good day all, I am new to these forums and am hoping for a solution to my problem.

We are running Aloha POS 5.3.19 and our fileserver has completely crashed, luckily I created an image of the hard drive realizing this might occur. I have pushed the new image to another computer (different hardware) and all is running again on the fileserver. The parallel aloha key is also installed on the machine.

The problem comes with the terminals they both just go into "make fileserver" after initial load I can see the file server from the terminals and vice versa. Names and passwords on the machine are identical as previous machine. What could be the problem?

Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance.

Sounds like lanacfg. Check to see if ctrlsvr is running in services. I have a help file in the FAQ
Link above. How to set up an aloha server. And lanacfg.

Cheers,
Coorsman

Thank you very much coorsman that was the problem. That FAQ was a lifesaver.
