This is driving me crazy, I have some images I am using in a report header. When I add the image to the report, it's 2.27 by 0.86 inches. Through the Crystal Developer, I can run the report, the image looks like crap. The image itself looks nice, outside of the report, it's a high resolution 300 DPI image. Now I generate a PDF in the Crystal Developer and it looks very nice. But when I generate a report through my application using Crystal's API, it distorts the image and makes it hard to read. If I turn the "Can Grow" property on, it still looks nice through Crystal's PDF, but now in the API's PDF, it's huge, going way across and off the page. What am I doing wrong? How can I fix this? I need the image to be it's 2.27 by 0.86 size and very legible. Please help...

I should also say that this is a blob field that is being returned from our SQL Server DB. It's NOT an image that I am attaching. A parameter in the report determines which logo to use.
