Images dont appear

Hi, I hope someone can help me. I am very handy with dreamweaver but I am still a newbie. here is my problem:
I create an html file from a saved template, then I detach that page from the template so I am free to edit it. I place some images in that page and i make a link to that page on my index page. Now I preview the index page in my browser(IE 5.5)and I clik the link that i made to the page i created from the template, but when the page i created from the template appears NONE of the images on the page are visible, just the outlines of where they should be.
PLEASE help I am very frustrated and I dont know what to do. I am running Windows ME.

You are unlinking those images from your new page either because they are not in the right folder or you just need to make sure you are linking the FULL path name for the images. Relink them. You may need your images in the same folder as your html pages.

Hello Jester69 I appreciate your reply, but I have tried putting the images in the same folder as my html pages and still the same thing happens. I am not quite sure what linking the full path name means, maybe I am not as handy as i thought i was with dreamweaver. thanks again for your reply
