Image not displayed in PDF

I have added image in report and If I run the report I am able to see the image in the HTML and excel output but If i export the same in pdf then I am not able to see the image.

Any idea why is that?

Please help.

Is the webserver SSL secured?
How do you reference the image, with an absolute path or relative?

I m using server path only. Is there any limitations in cognos 8.3 version. for PDF image
