Image Loading

Hi,

I have 3 images ( bitmaps ) in my flash application.

Frame 10-20 : Image1
Frame 20-30 : Image2
Frame 30-40 : Image3

I was wondering whether all images are loaded as soon as we start the movie or individual image will be loaded when the corresponding frame in which they belong executes.

These pictures will be loaded in succesion, with regard to which frame they are in. But, this does not mean that they wait to be loaded until the frame is loading. Depends on pictures size. If your picture file is really big, there might not be sufficient frametime to load it, and you might even then get a "freeze" when the frame is loading until the picture is fully loaded.

If you add a preloader, all images should load before the movie starts. Of course, if you don't add a stop action, or continue button or a whatever system to stop the movie between each picture, those pictures being only 10 frames long each, will play very fast.
