Image links broken while viewing .htm 'help' files in IE6,Win 98

When I try to use "Help" in some programs,eg: Dreamweaver & Photoshop,the main .htm file appears but there are broken links to images, in IE6.When I open the file in Netscape 6.2, it displays correctly. My platform is Win98 1st edition.I have tried changing HTML Document "open"
to execute with Netscape in "Folder Options">file types,but they still open with broken image links in IE6.
Assistance would be appreciated.

Try fixing IE with its repair tool in System Information/Tools.

If that doesn't do it..you could "restore" to previous version and re-install.....

Thanks all..problem fixed.
Found the answer at

The Registry Content Type values for
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.gif and
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.jpg were incorrect.
