The documentation for some software we have just purchased includes
The counter is set to 000001 and incremented every working day. When the counter reaches 999999 it must be reset to 000001
So I'll make an entry in my diary then.

Without getting into to much detail lets just say I work for a large 'accounting' firm.

[thumbsup2] Wow, I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time.
I think I've forgotten this before.

Ah, yes !!! I (unwillingly) use them myself once each year.

MM,

Just curious, but did your accounting firm ever send you to training at a place called FLETC (Glynco)?

I was there in 1990 (SAIT 62, if that means anything - in fact, the very last SAIT before it morphed into SABT).

Hill AFB... That brings back some memories. I've spent, altogether, about 90 days living in Ogden and working at Hill AFB. I had some surprisingly good times in Ogden (surprising to me, anyway). I'd love to be able to go back, but I haven't worked for that company for 7 or 8 years now.

FLETC? That's an acronym I don't remember hearing before.

Santa, how would you rate your experience, say compared to a trip to the dentist?

If, by "experience", you mean "the experience of working with your 'accounting firm'," then let's just say that they have always been very professional, but my anticipation of preparing my materials to work with them is the only real stress in my life...It's a mental illness (i.e., phobia) that I have...nothing really to do with your colleagues' behaviours.

I keep presuring for some type of employee discount, but thus far all I've managed is a referal to my congressman.

I am however happy to hear you describe your experience as 'professional'.

In regards to willingness, we're in the same boat. But I can share our congressman's contacts with you should you care try that route. :)

Haven't heard of it? That's not an altogether bad thing...

Tim,

I didn't say I haven't heard of it, only that I don't recall hearing of it. But reading between the lines err.. line you posted I'll try avoiding it if possible.

Why do today
that which may not need to be done tomorrow [ponder] --me

Mine I would consider professional, somewhat like a visit to a peridontist. But the financial part was handled smmothly, somewht like a dentist. Ended up sore and poorer.
But then the Utah paperwork people felt sorry for my pain and relieved part of the burden by sending money back.
