Hi all,

I'm new in my job and I have to work with PABX for the first time. In our labo, we use a Option 11c between to connect "modems" ans "Access Servers". We have 3 2Mb PRI cards and 3 different call numbers, each one corresponds to one access server.

In a first time,we want to double our lines. Thus we need to use 6 call numbers with the same equipment.

I'm loss in all the documentation about Meridian Option 11c and I don't see how to do what we need.

Is it possible that each 2Mb PRI card manages 2 call number?
What is the procedure to achieve it?

Thanks for your help!

Well there is a couple of different wayes you can do it depending on what you have if you have DID numbers use ld 49 if not you will have to set up a new route and break the trunks out that way you will have to supply more info if you want help further

Hi,

there are several things to mention. If you use for the moment 3x 2MBit links; check first out if you work in a DID mode. If ye4s you can simply create new DID´s using the same interface cards.

The configuration of routing parameters you can find in overlay 87. The first metioned overlay 49 is to configure FCR (Flexible code restriciton) and is used to build restriction and permission on route data blocks. If you can provide me with more details about your 2MBit config I can analyze it and tell you what exactly is to do.

Thanks,

but where can I find information about overlay 87 and 49?
I dont't see this overlays in the Meridian Software Input/Output Guide (Maintenance)....
