I'm having trouble running a PcChips M810LR (yes, I know they're shite but it's not mine) with an Athlon XP1700 CPU. All fine at 1100MHZ, not working at 1700MHz. Could anyone talk me through flashing the BIOS, when I try running AMINF335.EXE (from A: drive) I keep getting a "file not found" error, the .ROM file is also on the floppy. Failing that I'll tell the customer to buy a decent mobo.

Many thanks

Interesting this, why waste a DDR processor on this mobo, to get full advantage of it one of the best budget solutions is the Elite K7S5A at least you can add DDR ram!! - Check it out on Toms Hardware guide.
The good news is it runs on the same chipset as the 810, so the existing hard drive should go straight on without too many driver issues, the bad news you will need a separate video card.

Out of interest when your comment - not running at 1700 - can you expand on this?

The BIOS setup gives the option of a CPU speed of 1100MHZ or 1700MHz, not sure why but the previous CPU was a Duron 1100

Dunno', Dude, I may just be a nay-sayer, but I wouldn't flash from the floppy! (Call me paranoid\cautious whatever...but when mfr.'s advise against it, that's reason enough for me to do it their way...after backing up what's there.)
Maybe after I've done it a few thousand times...but not yet.
