Illustrator Startup Problem :-( 1

For some reason, Illustrator 10 will not load on my computer. I have been using it for over a month now and all of a sudden the load up splash screen freezes on "reading fonts". Any body else have the same problem and maybe a solution?

Installed any new fonts lately? If so, uninstall them and give that a go.

If that doesn't work then try deleting your prefs. You can search the forum if you don't know how to do that.

Thanks. I deleted my new installed fonts and the adobe pref files and it booted right up. Hi ho, Back to work I go!
