Illustrator problem

Hey there,

im trying to create a logo for business, but im having trouble, if you would like to look at this screenshot :

they are both vector images, and what i am trying to do is cut out the dragon,so that it can only been seen inside the text, (head wings etc left, and feet gone) is this possible? and if so a quick guide would be VERY useful!

Ryktp:

Put the dragon behind the text, select both, and make a clipping mask. If you wish, you can apply a stroke to the text after it's been made into a mask.
