I have inherited this issue from a server admin on vacation but from what I understand the issue is as described below:

The facility has 3 websites hosted on a server I can access via RDP. DNS is third party while the 3 websites are bound to *:80 on the server. Since it is not yet live, I connect with a modified hosts file and I get the same result on my local computer as I do from the server when I RDP.

Website behavior on Server(localhost) and Workstation
Website 1: Page Loads
Website 2: IIS7 Splash
Website 3: IIS7 Splash

The configuration of each site seems to be the same with the exception of the access pools and directories, but I am still unable to load the other sites. It has been at least 2-3 years since I have played with IIS7 and I typically run Apache2 myself so this has incurred a bit of a blank mental state in my part.

The Default Document is correct, content is in the correct directory, and the bindings and basic/advanced settings seem accurate.

Any suggestions? Thank you.

You can try checking the host headers. If DNS is pointing to the same server, it is up to the host headers to send the request to the correct site - otherwise it will go to the default site.

See how here.

Good luck.

Just an update that this was the case and is resolved as described above.

Thank you
