Currently i'm having trouble starting any sites on my Windows 2000 server. The problem started after I made a new site and had the home folder share on a Linux box. It was all working fine until I had to stop that particular website and tried to restart it. Now every time I try and restart that site or ANY other site in IIS (whether it has a home folder on a Windows server or not), IIS just locks up. Any help will greatly be appreciated. thanks!

Make sure you can access the share through my computer. I always actually map the shared drive to a drive letter. If you can access the share from somewhere other that iis, try deleting the site and re-creating it in the iis console. It sounds like a networking problem since it will not connect to anykind of share.

Hope this helps
