Hi everybody!

I have a web application on Win2000 and IIS 5.0
3 times a day my IIS stops responding. I don't get a timeout error, nothing. If I restart the IIS everything is OK until the next time when it's freezing.

Any ideas?
Thanks,
Durug

I am having the same problem however, I am running Windows NT 4.0 server. IIS stops responding and it doesn't throw any events or any hint as to why it has stopped. If you find out any information would you please let me know what you have found out.

Thank you for your time.

Do you do asp (or any scripting) ?

If you are using scripting it is more than likely caused by your code not setting variables = Nothing at the end of the pages. The scripting engine will eventually stop responding and a re-start neccesary.

We had the same problem.

Re: variables = nothing

When the script completes, doesn't that memory space get freed anyway? If not, I may have to go back through some of my scripts and take care of this. :)
