IIS service terminates without user interaction

Hi @ all,

I'm running an IIS 5 webserver on a WIN2K Server SP2 (don't shout at me, that's the first thing thats gonna be changed today ...) Quite regularly in terms of 7 - 10 days, the IIS service terminates without any user interaction. In most cases the service can be restarted manually without any problems, sometimes a complete re-boot is necessary.

Does anyone know why this happens? The event log doesn't say anything useful about it.

Are you using ASP to access a database? If so, we may be experiencing a related issue. See thread41-627247. :-(
