IIS OWA Stopping randomly 1

For the last couple of days, our IIS for Outlook Web Access (OWA) has been stopping randomly. Then I can go into the IIS manager and restart the stopped default web page. Then couple-4 hours later. Same thing.

Nothing in Event Viewer {only thing is a RPC error that is "unable to bind over RPC" error 1753 -- seems unrelated but am looking it up}. I have Event Viewer logs set to overwrite because full logs will stop exchange services.

NT4.0 + SP6a
Exc5.5 + SP4
IIS 4.0
all on same server

Hello,

We experienced similar problems with OWA crashing every few days. After extensive research we discovered that our real-time antivirus software was to blame. We excluded the \exchsrvr\WebTemp directory from virus scans and real-time monitoring and the problem disappeared.
