IIs newbie

Well, I have installed IIs on my xp pro at home. I ahve many questions about the whole thing, but if I can get a couple answered ehre that would be cool.

With IIs in place, does this mean my pc can act as a server for a website, and is that website local on my pc? Users will http or

http://www to

my pc?

Or if there are any links to sites that not only explain setup but how to use, please let me know.

Yes your PC will now be able to serve up your website. Here is a link that might help:
