I installed IIS lockdown tool on my Exchange 2000 SP3 system. The install gets hung up and it shows this on the screen. Is there a way to get around this?

Warning: Unable to secure content (M:\domain.com\Public Folders): Access is denied.

Thanks for your help,

A few things you might try:

Make sure NTFS is not trying to change permissions on the directories.. check the windows security logs for access denied messages.
Also try checking your settings for IIS Lockdown...

I think I saw some articles in ms knowledge base about this...but don't know where

hope this helps a little

How would I know if the lockdown tool is changing the security setting on these public folders? Also, there is nothing in the security log for access denied.
