IIS error id: 2

I have been getting an event viewer error id 2 for the last month and no matter what I try it will not quit. Error ID 2 is: IIS Logging was unable to create the directory. The data is in the error.

Of course there is no extended information about the error message in the event log.

If anybody has any ideas about this I'd greatly appreciate the help.

The problem is, that the directory for the logfiles can not be created. Maybe this MS KB article helps you:
