Hi All.
Pulling my hair out on this one, and have been screwing with it myself for far too long...
I have a new site on my IIS server that I'm calling "Dashboard". This requires users of our 2000 domain to log in with their AD passwords (much like they do with OWA).
I've set up the certificate, have the site running, however I'm unable to authenticate. The default login box that pops up on XP says, "Connecting to dashboard.mydomain.com". If I put in my username and password, it fails. However, if I back out the "dashboard.mydomain.com\" and replace it with the actual 2000 domain name (domainname\bryan) it works.
I've tried all of the different authentication methods, and even tried copying the settings of website security from OWA (seperate server), but to no avail. I'm thinking there has to be something saying "dashboard.mydomain.com" is part of "domainname".
Thoughts?
Thanks in advance.
