IIS and DCOM Errors

The following messages have begun appearing in my Event Viewer -

"Source: DCOM // Access denied attempting to launch a DCOM Server using DefaultLaunchPermssion. The server is: 00020906-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} The user is Unavailable/Unavailable, SID=Unavailable."

Second, services associated with the IIS and the web. SOURCE is "Server Control Manager" throughout -

"The IIS Admin Service service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 1 milliseconds: Run the configured recovery program."

"The World Wide Web Publishing Service service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 0 milliseconds: No action."

"The Simple Mail Transport Protocol (SMTP) service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 0 milliseconds: No action."

"The FTP Publishing Service service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 0 milliseconds: No action."

So far, I've run AV-programs and McAfees "Stinger" and Ive re-installed IIS. But errors re-appear.

Have you seen this? Looks like it may have trouble launching the Machine Debug Manager.

When going through the steps of the article, the problem is I only get to step 7, step 8 does not work - first: "Interactive user" is disabled and cannot be clicked, and, second, when choosing "This user" and adding my username and password (member of Admin's) an error occurs and the name/password is refused.

At a loss...
