IIS 6 - SMTP - E-mail not sent

My web developer has designed a web site that utilizes an SMTP connector.
The problem is that e-mails sent out using the website are stored it the queue and only when I restatr the server the e-mails would reach their destination....

Any ideas???

In the ...control, administrative tools, services.
simple mail transfer...make sure you have this set to automatic...then it should do it.

I'm having the same problem and it is already on automatic

Try re installing the don net framework and the service pack for it.
