I set up a web site in IIS 6.0 on windows 2003. The web site uses Integrated Windows Authentication. This is to enable users access the site with their OS credentials. I created a DNS name that is used to access the site. Its been working fine, but today the site came up with "The page cannot be displayed " error message. I noticed that with the server name the site can be browsed, but with DNS name or IP address the site comes up with "The page cannot be displayed " error.

Pls what could have caused this and how do i resolve the problem?

Yes the server name resolves to the IP address

Can't tell you what the exact problem is. Check the event log on the server. Had a problem like this recently and it was because of a time synchronization issue on the server (long shot on your case here).

Post what you find and we can go from there.

Regards,

J
