Hello,

I'm trying to configure a Windows 2003 Server which had been 'secured' by somebody else following DoD STIGs.

This server allows http connections (non-SSL) but when I try to connect to the same page using SSL, it says it can't find the page.

I migrated the server cert from an existing server and there was no problem with this process.

Where and how can I can configure this Windows 2003 Server so it allows SSL connections? I don't believe it's an IIS issue.

Thank you.

I found out that the only way I can connect to this server in SSL is to enable "TLS 1.0" on my client browser. However, IE has "TLS 1.0" disabled by default.

How do you configure this server so "TLS 1.0" is not required to connect?

Thank you.

I ended up rebuilding the Windows 2003 server. After rebuild, SSL 2 and 3 were allowed.

I use IE 6.0
