Hi @all,

i have a little problem to configure my iis 6.0 server. I try to download a .exe file... i press the button on my website and now the normal dialog windows comes up " open or save..."

now my problem i want to download a *.rdp file its in the same directory as the *.exe file, but now comes the error message "The page cannot be found".

must i configure the IIS to publish all files? or publish the IIS only default filesextensions?

Sorry iam a newbie in iis configuration. Can everybody help me please?

Many thanx!!!

try giving the Directory Browsing permission on the directory using the IIS console (Home Directory Tab).
IIS does not know how to associate that file.

IIS 6.0 only ships with Windows Server 2003.

It will NOT be available for download, or as an upgrade to previous versions of IIS. This is because of the way it interacts with the kernel in Windows Server 2003.
