Im using Windows XP Pro and dreamweaver, How can i configure my comp to act as a temporary server for a asp pages that i created in dreamweaver?

Turn off 'Use Simple File Sharing - recommended' from Folder Options, View.

Then Start button, Run, control userpasswords2
Double click user IUSR_My_Computer_Name
Group Membership tab, Other, and add Group Administrators.

I noticed that i dont have a Run option in my Start button. how can i put it back?

Are you in a Domain setting? It was likely disabled by Group Policy.

yes i am in a domain. but i have a power user privelege

Not sufficient.

You could be Administrator on both your Domain and the local workstation and I can take it away from your Start menu with Group Policy.

is so why do i have the run button when i use other computer using my account? i think i just accidentaly deleted it. if i deleted it how can i install it again?

Right-click the Start Button, Properties
Start Menu tab, Customize
Advanced tab, check the box under "Start Menu Items" for "Run command"
