Hi

I have custom field called Status, which user can select one of three options from a dropdown list - depending on the option selected i want another custom field to be populated - is it possible by doing a nested IIF statement or do i need to VBA it?

For example

Status = A then Arrival = 100%

Hope this makes some sense!

I'm not sure why you're having a problem since you have already provided the answer to your question.

P2003. I used OutlineCode10 and Text1.

OutlineCode10 was defined so that it accepted 1, 2, or 3.

Text1 was given the following formula:
IIf([Outline Code10]=1,"ONE",IIf([Outline Code10]=2,"TWO","THREE"))

Depending on the contents of OutlineCode10, Text1 displayed "ONE", "TWO", or "THREE".

Thank you for the response - just having a moment of madness i think!
