is this a pure webmail - you go to a website, type in the email using your web browser, and click a send button?
and does ALL your email fail?
for verizon to suggest it's an MTU setting is ludicrous.
standard email uses SMTP, but webmail typically uses a "form: submit" method using HTTP.
can you post using any other forms on the web? as you can post to tek-tips I'm assuming you can!
if it's one particular email address / domain, there may be a DNS problem with that domain.
if it's all your email, that sounds like it's Verizon's problem, not yours.
as for asking you to enter your username and password on a third party server - you can't. you'd be in breach of THEIR Terms and Conditions ("you must keep your password secure"
