Hi all,

I hope that someone can help. i have tried searching fo a solution but really didn't know where to start?!

I have a site that opens a couple of pop up windows. in the pop up i have a link to bring the main site to the front.

My problem is that potential customers are occasionally given a direct link to the pop up sections, which means that when the 'mane site' button is clicked, there's no main site to brin forward.

So what I need is the functionality of:

'if main site not open in any open browser window, open main site in new browser window, else, if open, bring main site forward'

can this be done with html or javascript.

Thanks for any help

:)

Hmm... I should clarify that answer. You can do it if you know the name of the original window... but chances are you will not, as the user will probably have simply opened it by clicking a URL icon or browser icon. This is why I said "no".

Thank for clearing that up Dan. Probably saved me time and a headache trying to get it working
