Hi,
Use Conditional Formatting to shade the font in these cells the same as the interior shade. It will make them seem to disappear.

[/sub]Well, depending upon how secure you want this, there is an easy way it can be done.
Assuming you have a white background in the Excel Cells, you can use conditional formatting to set those equal to the values you want to hide to white font. Then, they will not be visible unless someone selects the cell data, or changes the background.

You have been posting on Tek-Tips for nearly 6 years, posted over 140 questions and have acknowledged ONLY 4 responses as valuable and helpful posts.
Now my experience has been that Tek-Tips has been EXTREMELY HELPFUL to me in my career. I can't understand how you do not appear to feel the same.

That's not the point, sir. It's your pattern of behavior.
Taking all the time without proper acknowledgement, will not provide you any net benefit in your LIFE. The evidence in your profile here at Tek-Tips is only a symptom.

Chances are you need Conditional Formatting as Skip and kvj1611 have already stated ... but depending on the cells whose values you are concerned with and the cells whose display you want to suppress, there may be other options, such as use of formulas, or perhaps even CustomNumber Formatting.
So, your posting more details will certainly help understand what you are working with and what you are trying to accomplish.

I'm not sure why I am humoring you but here I go.
I have been a member over 6 years but I have only posted about 2 questions in the last 2 or 3 years, I used this a long time ago.
When I share thoughts and knowledge with anyone I really could not care less if someone thanks me or not. Hey if it’s good then they have gained something, if its not then they have not.
And yes Tek-Tips has helped me many times, most of the times because I can get a very quick answer from people like yourself, but my profile and evidence here has nothing to do with my life, I work for the 14 best company to work for in the USA and lead a team of 72 people, my life has many benefits and giving kudos and promotions to these people is very rewarding.
You seem to be the type of person that requires constant acknowledgment and feedback, there is nothing wrong with that, that’s just your personality and I do not fault you for it.
I hope YOU find the acknowledgement and recognition that you so desire here at Tek-Tips. And if you don’t then I will start by saying great post, it was very helpful.

Ragol1: I think you miss the point of Tek-Tips. People on here do not log on and spend time answering questions that others post, simply for a thankyou. We are not puppies waiting for our next treat.
We do because we like to help. A thankyou now and again does go a long way. In addition, if you do not want to type the words "thank you" and post, you can simply click on the link that says "Thank <<name> for this valuable post".
That does 2 things: 1) it thanks the person that has helped you out (remember you posted something because you needed help) and 2) it alerts others who might have a similar problem that an answer has been given that might get them out of trouble too.
