Hi all,

If we use the CMS ECHI feature.

Do we have the CMS call data collected in the Informix database as well? Reporting possible? Anyone experionced with this.

I found this from Avaya documentation.

"Once the External Call History Interface feature is installed, you will no longer be able to access
any call record data from CMS nor will you be able to use the CMS Call Record report."

No need to do maintenace backup(CMS data)?

From my experience the manual is correct. No more Call Record data stored in the call record table under Informix. It seems that most people don't use this table to a great extent in any case due to limitations in the number of records that can be stored and the possibility of lost records during busy periods.

As far as backups, nothing really changes. You should still do daily backups as all the other tables are still being populated with data.
