Hi
I have a sub report where I count the number of enquiries there were to an advert. Sometimes there are no enquiries in which case I have to show a 0.
This shared var is then used in a calculation in the main report, and NB need to show a 0 if there weren't any enquiries.
My current formula in the subreport is:
Shared Numbervar =: EN
Count ({enquiry.id},{enquiry.marketing})

Many thanks,

if isnull @value then 0 else @value

Where would this formula go if my subreport running totals are not showing the zero values?

A shared variable from a subreport has to be looked at in a lower section of the main report. In the section that has the subreport, it will do everything else first.
